James Last - Lady In Black / Give A Little Bit (1978)

Показать описание
From the album Non Stop Dancing '78, James Last performs a medley of Lady In Black (original version by Uriah Heep) and Give A Little Bit (original version by Supertramp), which includes an alto sax solo by American-born Hamburg-based studio musician Herb Geller.
There is an indirect connection between James Last and Uriah Heep. Late '70s Uriah Heep vocalist John Lawton (who actually didn't sing on the original version of Lady In Black - it was a re-release of a 1971 recording) was also the lead singer for Hamburg-based prog-rock band Lucifer's Friend, which also included Last musicians Peter Hesslein, Herbert Bornholdt and Peter Hecht.
