They didn't make a mistake by blurring out the entire screen as someone who is short sighted, when I take my glasses off the world around blurs into shapes and colours unless it's really up close then I can make out facial features .

That's weird because when you have something right up against your face and you're not looking directly at it just like the glasses they would be blurred in the peripheral vision because your focus would be on what you're trying to see In the distance
