100% true. If you honor God generously from your heart, he will reward you. When I was young and almost homeless, my pastor preached on giving, and I believed. I gave beyond my means, and God has helped me ever since. God made me wealthy, and gave me a happy life. I dare not claim any credit for myself. It is God who makes wealthy, and he adds no sorrow to it. To this day, I give joyfully to God. He rewards all who love him. But if you give from selfish motives, you will not be rewarded. Last spring I planted 6 habanero peppers and they grew very slowly, much slower than they were supposed to. I lost 4 of those plants during this time and was very disheartening and discouraged. I then took the last 2 and transplanted them into a 20 gallon bucket with tons of calcium, fertilizer, and plant food. By the end of the day I watered them and then kneeled down in front of the plant, put my hands together and looked up into the sky and prayed to the lord asking him to bless these plants so that they may survive and grow. A week later they grew twice in size. A month after that I got my first habanero and I thanked the lord and continued to treat the plants with much care. The following months the lord blessed me with more and more peppers and up till the end of fall I picked 344 peppers off of those two plants. God is good and he has blessed me and my family with a more than a plentiful harvest. PRAISE GOD.

i love what he’s saying. you can’t live off that 100% because that’s saying that you don’t need to have God in your life and for some people they’ll agree with that statement till they come up empty handed and have nothing left except God to go to. instead of seeking him at our lowest we should praise him when everything is fine and give thanks. giving that 10% to God makes the other 90% feel so much more valuable as if it was 140%. he will change that 90% into a blessed 90% so it’s as if it was 90% 2x. Prime example of what Jesus talked about, having faith as little as a mustard seed. he used the smallest thing for people to understand at that time. that mustard seed is that 10% it’s so small yet worth everything because sooner or later it will grow and be a part of your testimony
