Didn't really get bigger, but definitely gotten back in shape.

Workout 3 times a week, around an hour each.
Monday - Chest/Triceps
Wednesday - Biceps/Back/Forearms/Abs
Friday - Shoulders/Legs

Oh here comes all the experts when it comes to workout. You don't see the difference? Maybe working biceps/triceps wasn't what he wanted but to prove a point that by just using dumbells actually works out a lot of other areas of the body as well.

dude, cardio work is good for you no matter what. It's what keeps you heart healthy. You can be a big dude if you want, but do cardio, unless you want heart problems later in life.

If you're skinny and just building muscle than you want low reps heavy weight, if you're going for a tone look high reps lower weight. If you're on the pudgy side then cardio with a mix of weight lifting is what you want.

Try to use heavier weight and more food. I'd recommend trying calisthenics, pushups, chins, and working your way to pullups firstly. A year should really yield much more results!

Cool man, thanks for your help. And yeah 20's on triceps would be way too much for anyone just getting into shape. But well i do appreciate you taking the time to respond, thanks again.
p.s. if i may say, i own p90x and your work outs are exactly the ones i would choose to do (i.e. shoulders&legs, Back&Biceps, etc.)

3 times a week for about an hour....so out of 168 hours you worked on your body for 3. one portion of my daily work-out is 1/3 of your weekly work-out

Hey good job man. Actually, you've motivated me to make my own time lapse. I'll give it a shot. Though I don't know how you committed to doing this for a year straight! Anyways, I'll give it a shot. If not a year I'll try half a year. Anyways, keep it up.
