I shared this with friends today. It really moved me what a wonderful gesture by the guard and the sensitivity shown by the horse, sometimes animals just know. The joy shown on the face of the young girl in the wheelchair was delightful.

I’m not thrilled that an animal has to stand in the heat of the day with a rider in full military regalia sits on its back for hours. It has no purpose, other than a tourist attraction, it is outdated and time for change. If there is a remote possibility that the animal might be uncomfortable, that can’t be right, can it?
