When a 'voice from above' asks a teenage boy why he blesses himself with holy water as he enters the chapel in his local parish, the teen responds, "Isn't that what you are supposed to do when you enter a church?" The 'voice' then takes him on a journey into his past and future to see exactly what this water means.

@Blackcat51292 Is our mouth really any cleaner than our hands? Isn't the deeper issue the cleanliness of our soul - the state of grace we may or may not be in at the moment of reception? On a personal note, I experience a beautiful moment of grace when Christ rests in my hands for that few seconds. How you choose to receive him is a matter of personal piety. The Church affirms that freedom.

it is not wrong, it is more sanitary, that is also why people don't always drink out of the same cup anymore in some churches

in order to prepare himself for the consecration. Now, if the priest can help purify his hands with holy water, who's to say that when I bless myself with holy water, my hands haven't become more clean?

@CoryHeimann Thanks, Corey! I will give you a call in the next week or so. I have a typographical project for which I would like to hire you to produce this fall. I am also interested in your Fr. Don video. Peace, brother!

You do know that they don't touch your tongue with their hand right? Only the host touches the tongue.

Idk about you, but my mouth is probably dirty than my hands, or at least dirtier in the filth that truly matters, sin. My tongue has probably made itself much more unworthy than my hands with every insult, every time I've taken the Lord's name in vain. Another thing I might add, (that's actually relevant to this video) is that whenever I walk into a church, I bless myself, using my hands with holy water. Later on during Mass, the priest washes his hands with holy water,
