Carew Tower's new owner filed liens against himself

The lien, filed with the Hamilton County Recorder on Sept. 9, says the money is owed from a $12.5 million special assessment to all three condominium units that were created when the iconic Cincinnati building was split into three ownership parcels in 2017.

a lien is a lawsuit and you cant sue yourself. at least in hawaii. dont know how they do this there.
