Anti Cheat Exploit - Popular Game Gives Hackers Access!

This week, hackers are using an anti cheat exploit of the popular game, Genshin Impact, to disable antivirus software and conduct ransomware attacks!

The vulnerable part of the software has been known since 2020 and the anti cheat exploit gives access to any process on the device and the ability to terminate processes using administrative privileges on the device. Researchers reported the issue to the company multiple times in the past, but they still haven’t gotten around to fixing the anti cheat exploit.

Be aware of what games or software you’re downloading on your devices.
