When does it end? When do we have the leadership these endless injustices deserve? How many more lives need to be lost? Families to be torn apart? Communities to be devastated and the country to be appalled before we acknowledge the systemic issue at hand here and across our nation?
If you look at a country like Sweden and what they require in their system to become a peace officer, it’s beyond striking and then to see that they have basically two shootings a year in their entire country. Obviously we should be looking towards others that are doing something better than we are. We are failing miserably here.
