is HE the WORST part of Ed, Edd, n Eddy?

giving my honest thoughts about Eddy. He's not a good Ed Boy.

Eddy never got what was coming to him, which is why I decided to make a continuation of the Ed, Edd n Eddy series with my Where Did All The Love Go series of cartoon rap songs. #ededdandeddy #ededdneddy peach creek will never be the same.

I also blame Eddy's Brother for his awfulness. He was one big bully to Eddy and was who Eddy Idolized. The stink bomb, treasure map, spookyville, and the "carepackage" of baby stuff were all stuff made by Eddy's brother that ended up hurt on Eddy in one way or another. And yet, Eddy still thought if he was able to emulate his brother's behavior, it would make him cool. The problem is that the cul da sac feared Eddy's brother rather than liked him. It was only when the rest of the Kids saw how Eddy was treated by his brother was when things started to change.

Eddy's biggest flaw was Idolizing his tormentor. Closely followed by his greed for jawbreakers.

Eddy is my favorite character, because alone out of the three Eds he is the one who is allowed to have the most character development. Which of the Eds had a sympathetic redemption arc in the movie again?

I hated Eddy but he made the show. His schemes started it all then eventually everyone was able to work on their own really well that he could've transferred to a new school and new town without anyone caring. Double D was the best by the way.

Ed will always be my favorite, but I never hated Eddy and yeah he’s not exactly a great person, but I've seen worse examples, and Sarah was always my least favorite character in the entire show.

As some that used dislikes, looking back as an adult . Eddy is a indeed a very selfish greedy "who usual gets punished) character cause not only does help him be the driving force of the series, but he kinda represents the selfish neglected child we all have inside which helps connect us to the series, Plus you can tell by subtle hints Eddy like his friends is a product of his environment which is an important theme of the series.

I really don't agree with this video at all, to me Eddy is basically a combination of Daffy Duck and Moe Howard he has Daffy's greed and ego while he has Moe's short temper and bossies. The show itself is basically a homage to The Three Stooges, The Golden Age of Animation, and Peanuts with the entire show basically being an exaggeration of reminiscing about one's childhood and it's as simple as it gets.

Really nobody in the show is really the good guys or the bad guys (unless you count the Kankers and Eddy's Brother) since most kids in real life aren't fully developed and don't fully comprehend the aspects of right and wrong with the possible exception of Double or Rolf who's arguably the most honorable character. So the mean spiritedness and mostly lack of morals work here.

As for Eddy, yes he can be greedy, selfish, egotistical, loudmouthed, impatient, incompetent and cowardly but just because Eddy has these flaws doesn't mean he's a bad character. In fact, Eddy's still likable and is an enjoyable character, for one his flaws are usually his downfall and the whole entire precise of him trying to swindle the Cul-De-Kids out of their allowance money and so that he and the gang can get jawbreakers is technically wrong on its own so it's easier to laugh at his shortcomings because you know he deserves most of it.

Another reason to like him is that he has one of the funniest lines along with the 4th wall breaks he makes next to Ed, he has a laughter that's actually contagious and more importantly he has the charisma.

And most of his scamming and scheming ways mainly comes from his older brother and with episodes like Ed in a Half Shell, Ed ...Pass it On, An Ed is Born, and O-Ed Eleven gave a lot of good hints on what their relationship is like and it's what helped foreshadow and build up to its movie and finale.

Now while I will agree his character took a huge nose dive in Season 5 and was at his absolute worst in that Season until the season finale in A Fistful of Ed where he actually stood up for Double D in the end against the Kankers, The Big Picture Show is what helped save the series and actually allow Eddy to show him at his most vulnerable and show his true self at the end.

Eddy is still as likable and iconic as Ed and Double D and he makes the show interesting and remembered fondly because of his antics, charisma and how creative his scams are. People watch Ed Edd n Eddy mainly for the Eds not just because how entertaining they are but to the point where you kind of wish you were the Eds, where you want to be on a literal Mis-Edventure where it's summer everyday without the idea of any adult telling you what to do, it's a great escape for a simple setting for a show that's exaggerated and simple yet relatable, especially for those that are going through tough times be it they're a child or an adult.

And nothing can really take other's enjoyment of the show away from that.

Eddy is a hit and miss character, in the the first three and a half seasons he's alright, but but in the later seasons he's just unlikeable.

eddy might have been the most toxic character on the show, and i don't think he was a very good friend. he just used and bossed ed and edd around for his schemes. he reminded me of an evil kenan from kenan and kel. but i gotta say without him i don't think the show would have been as interesting.

but i hope this doesn't mean eddy is gonna name his daughter or son jawbreaker...
