Yet they are fine with producing pretty much all Christmas decorations in their factories.

You know why kids in China don't believe in Santa Claus? Because they're the ones making the toys.

The Chinese are really lucky to have the CCP to tell them how to think, feel and act.

If I understood it correctly, it was you who convinced your father to read his stories on a YouTube channel. If so, that’s a wonderful gift to the world.
A very happy Christmas to you and your family.

I was in Shanghai, there were Christmas markets everywhere, I can tell you Christmas was live and well in 1st tier cities and even third tier. I traveled outside of Shanghai and Christmas was alive and well.

It depends on the city. Shanghai has open Christmas markets. I live and work in Nanjing, there's xmas trees all over the place. I work for a chinese company, I get Christmas off, and we had a company Christmas party.

I bet they don't really want to produce any of our presents or decorations either! Lets stop buying anything made in China for Cristmas! :)

Nothing makes the citizens more patriotic than banning parties 😂
Best idea ever 🤪

Christmas is very popular where I am in China. Christmas trees and decorations everywhere, schools celebrating it, offices doing secret santa etc. It is very popular now among people in their 20s and 30s and they are passing it on to their kids.

You're a mean one, CCP
You really are a heel,
You're as cuddly as a cactus, you're as charming as an eel, CCP,
You're a bad banana with a greasy black peel!

I'm in China at the moment and there are Christmas decorations EVERYWHERE. There are Christmas markets all over the place and Christmas carols and Christmas songs coming out of every speaker...

I’ve worked in China for years, and at every job they made special efforts to make sure Christmas was a work day. It’s really annoying.

Christmas aside, even we Chinese people's biggest festival, 春节(Lunar New Year), the festive atmosphere is getting weaker and weaker. Setting off fireworks in urban areas is banned (although I can understand it's for safety reasons). When I was a child, 春节 was my happiest day of year, but now with the New Year without firecrackers, I can no longer find the feeling of the past. In addition, in traditional Chinese culture, Lunar New Year's Eve is the family reunion day. On this day, wanderers who are far away will go home and have a reunion dinner with their families. We have attached great importance to this custom for thousands of years. However, there will be no holiday for New Year's Eve of 2024, which has been criticized by lots of people online.
