What if I am planning to make a comparative study wherein I plan to conduct a questionnaire to analyze local data from one part and use document and records to gather available existing data from the other part? what is the best way to approach this in my Research Methodology section?

I'm not sure it's wise to make such a sharp division between Qualitative and Quantitative. It is perfectly possible to use both approaches in a research project.
