Obesity has been called the greatest threat to global health. Over a billion people that's about one in eight are already obese, and this could soar to 50% by 2035. China is also grappling with this crisis, with over 10% of children now severely overweight. So just how bad is the obesity crisis? Who is responsible, and what can be done to address it?

In people who have Insulin Resistance, one of the symptoms is obesity. Other symptoms are CVD, CKD, Diabetes Type 2 and 3 (Alzheimers), and many cancers. You become obese because your metabolism is so broken from chronic insulin overload that you are literally starving and so constantly eating to take away the hunger but you can never feel full.
