I work in local news, edit 95% of the time in my van and upload files to an encoder for air. I use XD Cam 17.5 because of the fast export, reasonable quality and relatively small file size since I have to upload through a Verizon hotspot. One setting that saves the day for me is the Interleaved option under stereo. It does a 2 channel L R stereo mixdown of my normal 4 audio track sequence. The Vantage encoder I upload to only looks at channel 1 and 2 (no idea if that's just a setting) so this saves a step of doing an audio mixdown.

Hey Kevin does premiere have "insert edit export" functionality? trying to help a colleague working in premier on a 58 minute show avoid multiple 2 hour exports for small changes

When exporting to MXF XDCAM HD50 my audio channels all seem fine in Adobe Audition. When I open the video in QuickTime it displays my video on Track 2 and my audio files on track 3-10. Before QuickTime would display my video track/Time code and audio channels from 1-8. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a new user using MC First 2019.12, and it looks like there is no option for exporting. Is this because of limitations, or is there some other setting I'm missing?

I have just upgraded from beta version to 2020.4 on my mac Catalina, and there is no basic export options like quicktime, does anybody know what happened to it?

this saved me once and it worked. However, i need to do it again and no matter what i do - I get error message telling me the "sequence is longer than the clip is expected". I did not change a thing in the timeline except some keyframes on a picture and picture effect. Anyone have any ideas what i can do to change not looking forward to another 50min output

Anyone here know how to export the FULL project and ALL the media in the bins? I understand the export of the timeline and contents but I need to save the full project files and export ALL the media in the bins. Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks for the videos!

The problem is insert edit does not work when you want to increase the length of the exported file. also does not work with stereo exports.

Is it my idea or is Avid getting worse? Mac OS Catalina doesn't even work. Maybe that's why almost everyone is switching to Adobe premiere.
