Senior year of college was when I started the real journey to discovering myself, my purpose, and my honest goals in life. I'm still very much at the beginning of this journey in creating myself and the life that I've imagined, but I hope this video can shine some light on your path as well. Don't mind me. I'm just binge watching on your videos. But I can totally related with this video. The older you get, at least for me, you just want to live your life with meaning and purpose. The more honest about what you want in life and for yourself, the better clarity you have with how you want to live your life.

I've been subbed to you for a while but today, after watching your "Advice to My Younger Self" vid, I started watching a lot of your older and more personal videos. I just wanted to say thank you so much for being such an inspiration. I feel like I can relate to you so much - I'm also an INFJ, Libra, did IB in high school, I've always loved music and performing, making an album has always been a dream of mine, my Chinese name is even Xu lol - but now in college, I also feel lost and I'm trying to figure out my life's purpose. That feeling of knowing the corporate world is just not for me and struggling to break away from society's idea of success and not knowing where to start is so familiar to me.
Anyway, your channel and who you are as a person now gives me so much hope for who I could become if I take risks now, stay true to myself, and trust the process. Thank you so much for everything you create and for giving me hope and inspiration. <3

I just started watching your recent videos, and I was so inspired by your attitude and desire to help others lead the life of their dreams that I decided I would look at some of your early videos, and found this one. I completely relate to having to overcome your definition of career success as having a prestigious/"important" job - I have been struggling with this myself after I left the PhD I started because I knew it wasn't right for me at the time. I have spent the last three years since I left university so confused by what to do next with my life and not knowing what I want, and not knowing how to figure out what I am passionate about, that I have let myself become stagnant. The closer to 30 I get (I'm almost 26) the more terrified I feel about not having a direction and the more pressure I put on myself. But your videos (and some other YouTubers') have helped me feel more confident in really starting to make some decisions about what to do now. Sometimes it's just about starting, even if you don't know what the answers are - the time will pass anyway so you might as well try something new and see where it takes you rather than doing the same thing you have always done when they don't make you happy. So thank you for being such an inspiration! I look forward to watching many more of your videos and seeing you strive for your dream life :)
