When cutting metal on a fiber laser I find that if the settings weren't quite right then going over the backside of the cut with a grinder or sanding disc can make the part easier to remove, it also partially deburrs the part. However it can also push a burr into the cut, so grind such that the wheel is running off of the part rather than on to, and knock it out the back.

p.s. Use either SheetCAM or even Fusion360 cam instead of having to deal with Lightburn. With SheetCAM you can easily insert any pre- or post- instructions or whatever. (well, it'll cost you a bit over 100 bucks one time, but it's worth it)
