I purchased the MagSafe accessory attachment for the iPhone to attach to the OM6. That MagSafe attachment makes everything easier especially if you have a case on your phone.

Hi, thankx for the great video. I have one question: can you put the ginmbal on the ground and ride or walk around it in cirkels, will the active tracking follow you? and untill what distance from the gimbal. That will be great for practicing inline skating. thnx.

any difference in quality when taking videos and pics through dji app compared to native iphone app?

when shooting a time-lapse having Osmo in tripod mode, can you set the gimbal to slowly automatically rotate from left to right (or viceversa )to get some more dynamic effect?

great video, but I'll never buy a phone gimbal ever again. I bought the OM5, and I've used it a total of 5 times in a year. With EIS getting better, one less thing to carry around.

Thanks for this insightful (and obviously unbiased = fair) review. My OM 6 is on the way to me now, and I hope it was a good purchase for me as a new-to-gimble user not (yet) intending to use it for creating content to share so much as for family videos often featuring our very active twin toddlers. ;-) Oh, and also as a selfie stick for togetherness moments in which I‘d otherwise be the odd man out. Reason I‘m wondering if it was the right choice: that strap one needs to put on the phone for using the gimble. Nobody shows how much of a bother it is to put it on or take it off. I‘d surely not leave it on all the time, but simply put it on when the situation arises. Not a good idea? Can it handle wear & tear of frequent mounting and removal?

These gimbals now make no sense unless very specific scenarios, even with the magnetic attachment and quick-launch it is always a hassle to carry a gimbal, to start it and so on.
Electric Image Stabilization nowadays is enough for 90% of situations. So good point, probably in 5 years this amateur gimbals will be as obsolete as point-and-shoot cameras are today.
