I'm late to thhe party and have just installed Windows 11. to say I'm absolutely blown away by what team Microsoft is offering would be an understatement. In a world where tech companies are constantly striving to steal attention, Ms looks like a lone warrior. The built in Focus feature was the beginning that inspired me to transition from Chrome to Edge : replace Google Task Mng with Ms Task on my Android : mk Bing AI as my default search since it is on Android App. What team Ms is offering to us consumers today, shows the vision of dynamic leadership, integrity of team Ms in action with in their design, features and services. Truly appreciate!

There's another great technique for "focus assist" that you could have added:

Work offline if you can! Network connectivity is the conduit for all of those distractions, so turn off the WiFi or unplug the Ethernet cable for quiet bliss!

Then, when the job is done, just turn on/plug in to resume your distraction connection.

Interesting feature. I’ve always known about it but never paid attention to it and never used it actively. Now I’ll think about it much more even in Win 10.

a good idea would be if they added the option to make and receive calls while Priority mode is on. the My Phone requires you to turn off Focus Assist entirely. I'd like to be able to have the best of both worlds, as i have my phone on Do Not Disturb but allow certain calls/texts to come through. sometimes i need to make a call on my PC, then i get bombarded with notifications when i turn off focus assist.

In Windows 10 “Focus session” from the clock app, do not activate Focus Assist from system, does it happen to someone else?

That's really stupid, I prefer having a bigger clock when you click there. And where are the SECONDS?
I'll tell you, where you have to go to see the seconds > right click on the clock > adjust date & time > additional clock > date & time tab > THERE, a tiny clock showing SECONDS.

It's frankly insulting to shove such a meaningless and unwanted feature like "focus" to all users and have no way of getting rid of it.

It's supposed to stop pop ups so you can focus. But it then bothers you with it's own pop ups to give you random breaks for 5 minutes. Literally makes no sense. When I click it on for no distractions. I MEAN NO DISTRACTIONS. Lol
