Bam is one of those guys who has had the world by the string like a balloon for a long time. I think him getting older and life changing the way it does ( dealing with deaths, friends moving on, not being in the same scene/clique anymore) has totally made him feel like he's completely lost. It's not uncommon. The fact he found fame and fortune so early in life makes it harder for him to figure out what to do next. I hope dude gets sober and learns to enjoy the people around him and his family.

I almost died from long term drinking. I was killing 1500ML of rum, most of the time mixed with coca cola, from 8am till I passed out, everyday for 6 years. I was drinking right up until I was in the ambulance, my pancreas was failing and I was gonna wait till morning, I didn't wanna be an inconvenience to anyone at 2am in the morning, doctor said I probably would have been dead if I waited till morning. Haven't drank since November 6th 2020. Life isn't boring, it's beautiful, especially when you find someone who cares about you the way you need.

Remember when he put the alligator in the kitchen? His mom's reaction was the funniest part of the bit, and it was awesome. Seeing this, all these years later, is enough to break your heart.

My grandfather was an abusive alcoholic, he tried to get clean a few times but never stuck with it and not only did he not stick with it he would hurt any women around him. My mother cut contact with him as soon as she found out she was pregnant with me and didn't speak to him for the last 20 years of his life. He died two years ago alone and in pain as every organ in his body shut down and his own daughter didn't grieve for him because she'd done it 20 years ago. He didn't have a funeral. The only person who even kind of missed him was my uncle. My mum says she occasionally misses the parent she had glimpses of whenever he'd get sober for a while. I've seen the trauma my mum still has from growing up around that man. I've seen the fear in her eyes whenever a drunk man is a bit too loud, the way she steps between me and them, even if they're happy and laughing, just in case. To those of you who got clean, who are staying clean, especially if you have kids, I have the utmost respect for you. You recognised that it wasn't what you wanted with your life, that you wanted to stop hurting yourself, to stop hurting the people around you, especially your children. I hope you retain the strength to stay clean, to be someone people will actually miss. To those of you staying clean thank you for not creating more traumatised children like my mother was.

Crazy that SteveO is setting an example for Bam.. if anybody and I mean anybody would’ve bet that any of the Jackass members was gonna turn out dead or in jail or wit a extremely horrible addiction .. nobody would’ve thought SteveO would’ve made it out alive .. God Bless SteveO❤

Everybody... When you say things about you being dead or hurting yourself to your parents please realise it kills them inside. Do not say these things to them. Talk to them about how you're feeling that's one thing, but doing it in the moment is terrifying and heartbreaking to them

He was one of my heroes growing up: I’m happy I couldn’t get tattooed I would’ve gotten the heartagram lol. I hope bam gets clean and finds peace man. I know how the chaos of addiction feels and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

Man recovery is a lifeline. You gotta have FAITH that life WILL 100% get better if you see it through. Lots of people dead from addiction but lots of people in recovery prove it can be done. Be your own best friend and choose wisely.
