The major problem with Ai besides the perspective issues, Anatomy, shape theory is that it can't truly see what its generating nor while its generating

One thing the AI companies have done are restricting Violence, nudity, Gore, offensive content - all that the big screen productions offer you as a standard. You can try prompt all day long and you'll waste your credits. Maybe you can share which ones will allow full combat etc and others that don't because something needs to change, customer pockets are being pinched .

As fascinating as this is, i'm increasingly concerned about the huge level of naive/ignorance at play in not understanding the various negative impacts at play with these 'tools'. From the job displacement(the sheer amount of people who currently provide art/video editing/creation as a service for a living) to the mis-information or scamming and theft that would be made possible on day one.
The video/audio evidence that our justice systems are built upon is out the window(given the burden of on the prosecution), the daily footage of middle eastern conflict now able to be drummed up.

The list goes on and on.
And it seems to be countered in how much fun we can all have now doing whatever it is we mean to do.

Again i'm as excited as the next person about al this stuff, but i'm also existed about nuclear fission. I try to see both sides I suppose. Not seeing enough of that with all this new news.

Given the current trajectories and the historical patterns of similar AI technologies, it is reasonable to estimate that both VEO and Sora could be available for the general public within the next 2-3 years, assuming no major hurdles arise during their development and testing phases. The timeline could be shorter if the technologies advance rapidly and meet safety and quality benchmarks sooner than expected.

None of them, sora included can brag about what they can do, until they release it to everyone and then have to withstand demand. If they can withstand demand and still do 60 min video, then they can brag. Until then, they can’t say they can do this. Because if they can’t do it when everyone has it, then they can’t do it.
