Finland prime minister Sanna Marin says she has taken drugs test following party video leak

Finland's prime minister Sanna Marin has said that she has undergone a drugs test after a video was leaked of her dancing and lip-syncing songs at a private party with friends.

Ms Marin has come under fire for the clip, with some politicians suggesting that she should take a drugs test.

"I consider these accusations very serious... to clear these possible suspicions, today I have taken a drug test, the results of which will come in about a week," Ms Marin said on Friday, 19 August.

The real reason that kind of image is avoided by all politicians because general public will stop taking them seriously once they see a PM dancing happily at 4am. It paints the image of a PM with no worries about people's problem. The PM becomes a joke.

There's no pause for people's problem. It's 24/7. Farmers are worrying with expensive animals feeds and fertilizers. Industrials are coping with high production cost. Consumers are panicking about food securities. Most folks are struggling with daily living cost. *They expect the PM to solve the problem quickly because every single day counted.*

General public can tolerate if the government explains much longer time needed to find the solution, with the PM is working hard to help them. But imagine what would general public with a lot of worries, think of a PM dancing happily at 4am, with no solution to their problem? I doubt they would see her as someone who has enough competency to run a country as PM. Her image as a party girl remains.

Imagine as husband, having a wife who left you and your 4 years child at home at 4am, just to have wild party with friends especially man. Dancing and probably kissing. The excuse is she is human and should enjoy her private life. What a responsible mother and wife.

Imagine put a trust to this "responsible person" to govern a nation with millions people, which currently suffer major conflict with Russia, with war can be at any moment. After exhausted partying all morning, might her mind sane enough to make national decision with involves people's life? Not to mention what kind of confidential information might be leaked to enemy during wild party (you know the power of alcohol) especially about national security.

We will never hear the TRUE results of that test. She was ON DUTY and she has admitted to having drunk alcohol.

I think she's doing just fine, what she does in her own time is no ones business!
