I know this song and the many other songs you made here are specifically inspired by LIS but...this one has a few lines that remind me of something else.

A distant pain, a past pain that I've only finally been getting over now since last year. There is *nothing* more harder in life than losing your love, or losing a friend, or losing someone you just love (family, friend)... I had someone like that. He was my best friend for many years and suddenly we found ourselves falling in love and it just fit so perfectly between us...because...because we never felt like that towards anyone (cliche, I know)

Challenges were on their way though and the day he was diagnosed I lost him, I lost me, I and I lost US.... I had to share this treasure with something merciless and hateful and jealous. I lost him to it, and I could never wrap it around my head that this is forever, death is inevitable and you can never go back after you cross that line. But this song reminded me that no, despite that he may be gone, he is still here. And it isn't forever, because we might just meet again. Heaven, another life, another time and dimension, who knows...

But to anyone who's lost anyone recently, or a year (like myself) or two ago... just remember that it isn't forever. You will overcome this painful awakening and you will rebirth again. And your friend, lover, mother, father, sister, whoever! is always there watching every step you take and they WILL rejoice when you are finally back on your feet.
