My friend does triathlons and had shin splints possibly due to over pronation. She tried the Kayano gel and never had the problem again. The new versions are a bit tighter on the toe box so she buys the 29s
I have supination and heel strike with low arches and I’m still looking for a perfect shoe. Tried barefoot and got sore knees and lower back.

Another excellent video, James. I’m thinking of buying my first pair of Asics running shoes and am a size UK 13. I noticed that Asics sizing seems different to other brands eg their size 13 is 31cms long whereas the majority of other brands are 32cms in the same size. Should I size up to a 14?
