Drowning Prevention and Water Safety

As the hot summer months approach, the Los Angeles Fire Department, Los Angeles Police Department, and the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks Citywide Aquatics want to remind the public that we should always keep an eye on kids in any body of water. From visits to the beach to swimming in the backyard, LAFD wants to remind the public that we should always designate a water watcher and as an added layer of safety we should utilize Rec and Parks to teach young kids how to swim.
