Yes, I agree. I don’t need constant recording indoors. Just purchased 3 pack stick up cam and came to YouTube to find out how to set for recording only when needed. Since it’s not an option I will be returning. Thanks for excellent review 🙏🏾

Been trying for 2 days to get set-up my Ring. 2 things I'll share on the short comings. 1) Their App and yours are totally different. Mine never asked for a wifi Pass code yet my friend was asked for one. Is it possible I have a older version. So disappointed and feel I've been had. Thank You so much for this review as I will not waste my time trying to set it up. Now I'll try and return it to Best Buy (ordered on line. Just have my Bank Account records that show the purchase transaction. Thank You again.

I bought these for the sheer fact that I have a dog that recently sprained her leg and a kid that gets off the bus 5-10 minutes before I get home. I need to make sure they’re either getting around or getting inside safely/successfully. You should use cord organizers or double sided tape whenever using corded security cameras; there are discreet options (they really should include these in the box though). Some of the setup steps didn’t pop-up on mine when I installed them last week, so I think they’ve improved SOME things. I agree about the the camera timing though. That’s one thing they haven’t improved. 🙄

So does it save evrything it saw even after disconnected or broken like does the video jus transfer to the app or the phone ? Or is it lost after

I agree with everything you said. I'm annoyed that I cannot stop the Ring Indoor Cam from recording and notifying via cellphone that it has detected motion. I even scheduled to NOT monitor when in the home mode. Very frustrating that Ring hasn't done something about this. Does the TP-Link Kasa Cam work with the Ring Security System?

Can only one use see via cell phone or can it be seen by different people in the household with their own individual cell phone?

I thought the same thing about it recording while I’m in the house. I need up plugging it into a smart plug which DOES have a schedule and I manage it that way. I think it’s better than ring programming in a schedule - doing it my way I know without hesitation that it’s off.

Pretty good review my friend! I'm just ordering some of these products. It's good to know that not everything is GREAT.. I'm not sure why I cannot use these under the awning of my porch though.. seems pretty protected from the elements .. Hmmm
