To be honest, when buying into Samsung the first device is the expensive one, all subsequent updates are greatly reduced in price if one was to upgrade / trade in every year.

Theres a reason they have more than 50% of the market in the USA, and this from a Android/Samsung user. Samsung who is around 25% of the market in the USA.
