In this weeks video I go back to basics, painting a stormy sky landscape.
This style of painting is perfectly suitable for beginners, it's also great for more advanced painters.
You may be new to painting, but it doesn't mean you should paint simple scenes, this painting is full of light and atmosphere. Give it a go !!

That was great Christopher, I thought you were going to put a great big tree trunk under those trees, ha! It turned out fabulous, thanks so much. 👏🏻❤️❤️❤️

Hi Christopher, I am a beginner with watercolour and I really enjoyed the way you did your sky but the best was the blue of the tree line on the horizon; really gave it distance.

Thanks, Chris. I enjoyed doing that one. Quite warm where I am so my paper kept drying very quickly. Didn’t quite get the dramatic sky I was going for but close. Enjoyed the process. Cheers.

Hi, Christopher! What brand is your burnt sienna? It seems much redder than mine. I use Daniel Smith. I'm learning many things from you. One of my favorite things is how you vary your greens. Thank you for all that you share!
