Why This Afghan Refugee Is Trying To Cross The Channel To The UK

20-year-old Khan Rahmanullah has been living in a migrant camp in northern France for nearly a year after fleeing Afghanistan. Khan tells AJ+ about the challenges of trying to jump on a train or board a truck heading across the Channel to the UK. From video journalist Daniel Holmes in France.

They're damaging private property. There are rules for a reason. Either you abide or you get trouble. Those people should be thrown in jail or sent back to their hole in the sand.

It's sad to see people struggle, but countries who are able to accept more immigrants but refuse to really need a wake-up call and help people like these out.
The countries who let people in are getting too many and it's causing a raise in unemployment and lack of housing.
More countries should open their hearts to these poor people.

I find it not understandable that people who were accepted in another country and start breaking the rules can’t get immediately deported. There are people who fled from some danger, and they are happy to have arrived somewhere, where they are save. There is no reason to attack the police or capture vehicles, and occupying a tunnel. I hope the laws will change very quickly, so that the police can simply collect those guys and transport them to Afghanistan.

Media tell us They are refugees. They need a help. Who? he is not refugee. He said, he wants to find better life in UK. Like 99% of them. Dear afghan and rest of muslims from there. Back to your country and fight for a better life in your country, like many people in Europe 75 years ago. Many our european soldiers died in afghanistan for your freedom, my friend also. Why did he leave for the west? If he is from Afghanistan then he could have moved to Pakistan.

If you want to come to UK 1st claim asylum in any EU country, stay there for ~5years and gain EU passport, then you can come legally and not need to risk your life. If you look at minimum wage in France, Belgium Netherlands, Germany, etc. you see that it is higher than the UK, and all these countries offer free healthcare. please stop risking your lives.
