Chatgpt states you could do all of that without smm. If so, why not to describe the process involving less services (I mean without SMM)?

$1mil dollar question - can I push logs out from a computer that is not part of the AWS infrastructure (other than pushing logs to s3).

This is the most worthless instructional video ever made. It fails at the most basic level - it explains nothing about about to create a valid cloudwatch agent config file to send logs to cloudwatch. In fact the entire section where that would be shown is skipped over, and then the presenter doesn't even bother showing where his supposed logs are going into cloudwatch log groups. I think the best thing to do with this video is delete it forever because the content is absolutely pointless in regards to sending windows logs to cloudwatch.
