I have this lens exclusively on my F4 while my 1.8D gets shared between my 4 other Nikon bodies. If I am totally honest I kinda prefer the 1.8 over the 1.4 with the 1.8 being a bit sharper wide open, but both are great options regardless.

As a Leica talk topic suggestion, how about the analog Visoflex system. I personally use it for wildlife photography (95% of my photography). It is a lovely, modular system. I have the Visoflex III myself.

Ken when I was working at the camera store that I took a Taste Test with my AF Nikkor 50mm 1.1.4, and the Nikon AF 50mm 1.1.4 D, and I was using my Fuji S5Pro as I took with, and without the AF tracking, and that I could not find any difference from the sharpness they were both sharp, and also that the speed of the AF running was just about equal. Is it that Nikon was just pushing the early "D" lenses as a marketing stunt?

I think a video with you and David Hancock talking about cameras, film, etc would be a good show. Respective viewers from both sides of your channels would really enjoy that, I'm sure...if you two were able to get together for a collab. You're both in Colorado, too. It would be neat doing a session together in the same room.
