so I'm confused, generally speaking you should not have to add any nutrients until the first set of true leaves appear, so when they do... is that when you should start the system? OR, just start the system as usual and not put any nutes in until they appear?

Hi there. I'm new to hydroponics and I love your videos. Thank you for doing them. Just thought I would drop one of the questions that occur to beginners as an idea for a future video. How do you harvest? Do you kill the plants and start new? Or do you keep a garden going for days/weeks/months/years. I am a little fuzzy on what happens once I start getting plants and what to do with them next and would really value a video describing this... thank you!

I Love Your Videos...I harevested a bunch of Cilantro in my Sprout. I cut them almost all the way down. I just left some of the plant to grow a new crop. After a few minutes I saw a bunch of white things all around one of the holes where the plant still is. I think they are aphids!!! I saw a speck of green also in a spot near this plant. I thought it was a tiny cutting from one of the leaves. I looked closely and it was a very tiny bug. I am pretty sure I have Aphids. I took out that Sprout basin and top growing plate and I am going to wash it up and replant something in there. I couldn't grow Cilantro in my Tower Garden outside either. The same white things or eggs or whatever grew out there too. I hated it and stopped growing Cilantro outside. So I thought I would grow Cilantro inside, and have no bugs.
Well I am sure these Cilantro plants are infested with Aphids. I got rid of it all. I'm going to wash it all up and replant something else.
How do you get rid of Aphids in your plants inside?
Do you ever get Aphids or other bugs?
What do you do to not have bugs in your plants?

After 83 days I finally have little green tomatoes 🙆‍♀️! Such a long time my gosh .

I read your instructions for beginner’s only AFTER I had already planted, haha oops ☺️

So I feel like I should pull out my mint plant 🌱 because it is taking over my aero harvest .

I also have a basil 🌿 and a smaller tomato plant that will soon have flowers .

If I plant my mint in a small container and keep it in a window sill inside do you think it will survive?

I am in San Diego but it is still winter and I am afraid to transplant it outside.

Maybe I could by a Aero garden sprout 🌱 unit start one strawberry 🍓 plant in one hole and later pop the mint into the third hole after the strawberry gets big enough to raise the light to the appropriate level for both plants ?

If I set the Sprout up in the afternoon or evening and want to change the light on start time the next day, how can i reset the start time without changing the whole run.

Thanks for creating and sharing this video! I have been debating getting one of these. I think they're good for herbs and lettuce. Do you have a Harvest Elite Slim? I have a few of those, was wondering how they compare to these sprouts since the shape is somewhat similar

Have you contacted Aerogarden customer service before about their germination guarantee? I ordered a box of seeded pods from Amazon, 4/6 didn't sprout. I contacted Aerogarden and haven't received a response yet. No email, nothing. I am not sure if it's because I'm in Canada? Have you had a similar experience?
