Turning Scrap Wood Into a $40 Jewelry Box With a CNC Machine

In this video I put a piece of scrap wood into my small CNC machine and make a $40 jewelry box with a custom engraved monogram on the lid.

I sell these tiny wooden boxes for around 40 dollar each on buy/sell pages on FB. The custom engraving on the lid turn this into a great personal gift.

I made the box with the Shapeoko 3 CNC machine. It should be possible to make 3-4 boxes per hour.

Amazing I wish I had the knowledge to program a CNC.

If you cut little boxes like this on a 45deg angle you get a consistant grain on all sides
