Just finished part 1! Except I used deepslate tiles and mangrove wood and I built it on top of a snowy ice peaks the contrast is great thanks for the content!

Thanks for the base idea! I used the basic layout of this build to make a mushroom castle. It's still in progress but it's looking really cool slowly. I replaced the wood with birch. And the rooftops of any towers will be made of purpur. (I wanted lavender-colored mushrooms.) The stone brick was replaced with quartz brick. There are no quartz walls which is really sad so I used chiseled quartz as a replacement. The main part of the castle also didn't feel right to be rectangular for the mushroom theme so I made it a semi-circle which admittedly made everything harder but I like it so far. I will update you later on what other adjustments I make.

Update 1: I am now nearly done with part 1 of the tutorial. There's been a lot of guessing how to adjust to the shapes I chose and the fact that I decided I wanted the stairway tower to be HUGE. The stairway tower has multiple purpur slab stairs that spiral up the tower to different levels of the tower. some of the stairs also need birch stairs from the purpur slab stairs because previous stairs I had made don't reach the level I want to get to. Anyways, in the middle of the stair tower is a smaller tower made of pillar quartz blocks & a swirling design of birch stairs. The rooftops are a struggle especially the main big one. (That's the last part I have to figure out.) But the tower roof is made of purpur blocks in the shape of a mushroom top. Regular quartz blocks have also been added as spots.
