The level of emotion felt for an inanimate object is actually insane. RIP Ginny.

Ingenuity: was i a good sidekick?
Perseverance: no, you were the best sidekick.

She's a little broken, but says nothing is wrong and is still expecting to work for the next 20 years. What a little trooper Ginny is! Rather relatable too.

Fun little fact from an earth science major! Those dust storms you mentioned are actually helping our robotic friends on Mars. It was once thought that solar energy might be a problem due to collecting dust, but the little mini tornadoes that exist on the surface of the planet have continued to clear off said solar panels and have allowed our machines to last years ahead of what we expected!

The fact she fell down in the Valinor Hills, of all places, feels incredibly poetic. RIP Ingenuity, may you rest forever with the Valar

Ginny’s my favorite weather reporter. She’s out of this world :)

Ingenuity is a marvel. First thing we managed to fly on another planet. And with a great work ethic: still wants to fly, and if that is not possible doing the next best thing. As you said: I hope one day a human will come and get the data.

Just because an eagle has a broken wing. Doesn't mean, it's no longer an EAGLE! 🦅💪

I love that we had a helicopter flying about another planet. It never got the coverage it deserved.

Ginny is amazing! Huge credit to NASA for getting the extra bang for the buck. Huge credit to Elle for these vids! PS: If Ginny is an 'unsung' sidekick, then, perhaps, it's time she had a song. Hmmm... if only we knew someone capable of doing that.

Okay, girl, why are you making me tear up over a rover sidekick. I feel thre endlessly ticking of time and the futile hope that we will be valued ... tick tick tick... empty lonely time.😢

Oppy Award goes to Ginny as an unbelievable lonely outpost soldier in our quest to explore the Universe. There’s still important work for her to do! :-)

Okay, they didn't have to name Ginny's final spot Valinor Hills. Damnit, why am I tearing up over that!? Stupid ninjas slicing onions!
