BMW's biggest Adventure bike makes a great touring machine, on road and off.

I bought this bike back in 2016 (Ocean Blue as well) and its just ticked over 72, 000 miles. It's been the best bike I've owned, on and off road. It's a great machine and I would advise anyone considering a GSA to go for it.

I just ordered mine. Will be looking to on some roads in NSW now, before going beyond. Exciting times.

great review, I've had my GSA for just on a year now and still have a big stupid grin on my face when I go out for a ride. I would probably say your doing the bike a slight injustice by restricting it to people over 6 foot I'm 1.78 and with the suspension mode set to one person and if you wish the seat itself adjusted to the lower position ( I don't) I can stand at a set of lights with my foot flat. These bikes have a very low centre of gravity which makes them easy to handle at low speeds. They carry their weight well and after a few days on one of these you wont even think about the size.
once again a very informative review for someone who's looking at buying one of these bikes

They can lower the suspension if the height is an issue - no cost option it seems. :)

I'm 5'8 and own the 2018 GSA Lowered version. Handles the same.

The ideal commuter vehicle I have an old 2006GS and i would love the 33 liter tank the new bike is to dam expensive so I will wait for a good used one.

Great review! Australia look like the best country in the world to own a GS/GSA. I don't agree with your take on the instrumentation. It's the weakest part of the GS/GSA. Hey BMW, dump the analog and go full digital, oh and make it legible.

I was thinking of selling my Harley tour bagger for one of these.
