Twelve contestants had 10 minutes to eat as much as they can of the 8.5-pound apple pies that were supplied by Oscar's Café during the Oscar's Pie Eating Contest at Durango Beer & Ice Company on Friday, July 5, 2024, as Fourth of July events continue in Durango.
