Показать описание
Using the DSTAR Calculator in the RT Systems programmer to set up all 297 reflectors in less than 3 minutes for your Hotspot.

See how easily it's done.

Don't forget to enter you Call under Dstar | Dstar settings in the file to make everything work.

This video saved me from a fair amount of frustration. I knew about the offset issue but still chose simplex and changed the values manually in the program. It didn't work and I couldn't figure out why. After watching the video I set the duplex in the calculator and it works! Thanks so much for doing these videos. I always buy an RT Systems program for my new radios. Please keep up the great work!

On all my hotspots I use only one frequency. The hotspot is not like a repeater with an input and output. Not sure why you would add a plus or minus to the program for a hotspot. Aside from that I learned a lot and used your instructions to populate some Reflectors to my radio. Now instead going into pi-star and changing the Reflector from 010A i can switch channels on the radio and go directly to 030 C. I don]t usually use repeaters if I can help it. Thanks again for the video.

Great Video....Question: Karin specifies pi-star hotspots. I have Openspot3. Do I still set the hotspot in either plus or minus or do I choose simplex?

This is great, but the DStar Calc options don't match my id51 Rt-Systems programming software. The Callsign is Name on my software and there is no checkbox for the RT1 and RT2 settings, so they don't get added. Therefore, if you have older software even though it's been updated to the latest version, this video isn't going to work correctly.

An interesting contribution, can you tell me how I can change it from Wide to Narrow?
