My Yokaro TPMS arrived last week and it took only a few minutes to install and get it up and running. Works like a charm! Thanks again Scotty!

There is a much cheaper option only 2-5 dollars which warns by colour change when you put it on the existing valve stem but not real-time. Thanks Scotty for your videos..you're so energetic and highly skilled. Cars and owners love you

These are very useful, and have been around for a while. I've replaced the battery in a tire pressure sender. All I had to do is break the bead on one side, push down on the tire, and remove the battery. Adding one of these to each tire has to throw off the balancing, since each one is adding weight to the rim.

I used to work for NDX, an excavation company as the yard manager. Every day we had to pip tires off the rims to repair semi tires that went flat / had leaks.
We didn't use a balancing machine or a tire removal machine. We used 3 tire irons and the engine start spray can.
1. You let out all air from valve stem,
2. Use tire iron (pry bar) in 3 spots between rim and seal of tire, pry the bead over rim.
3. Pull off tire.
4. Put used/new tire that's good condition on rim,
5. Use pry bar to put tire bead on inside of rim. Go around the tire in a circle,
6. Use engine start spray around inside of rim between tire, the fumes build up inside, make sure the tire beads on both sides are inside rim. Quickly use BBQ lighter to ignite engine start spray which pops the tire off the ground about 5-8" and seats the bead on rim.
You just set a tire on rim without a machine.
The Semi's/18 wheelers ran just fine, no steering problems.

If you know what to do you don't need machines.

This is very useful, thanks scotty. I'll be using these next time I pull a Caravan across Europe!

Reading all the comments, I really like the convenience of the real time monitoring, especially in the change of seasons when tire inflation is most likely to be an issue. My back is bad, so the less I have to check manually the better. It also give you a warning of a new slow leak that may occur right after you check the pressure if you run over a small nail for example. Now I can get that convenience for my old truck that never had it, and for only $70, hell yeah!! ☺️

I am using this gadget since 2015. I replaced the battery's already. It works just fine in summer and in winter.

A nice practical solution. This would probably be handy for a travel trailer as well. I like the solar powered option as well.

When I bought new rims for my car, I bought all new sensors. It cost me $82 for 4 AC Delco sensors for my Cobalt and I was able to program them myself. It's very easy to do, at least on a Cobalt and a lot of Chevys. Hold the Lock and Unlock buttons on the fob 'til the horn honks. The front, left turn signal will light up. You let a little air out of that tire until it honks. Then you move to the front, right tire where that turn signal is lit up and do the same thing. Do that until you get to the last tire and it honks a couple/few more times to let you know it's done. Then you, of course, pump them back up to where they need to be.

Scotty,
New OEM style Tire Pressure Sensors are readily available on ebay and other places for less than the system you featured here. Most sensors are available in a set of 4 for about $53 bucks. Yes, they would require partial take-down of tire from rim but are a long term fix as the batteries typically last for at least 8 -10 years in my experience.

If one does NOT have a tire pressure sensor system at all, then I can see getting the system or a similar one to the one you featured, but for a car with the system already installed - old sensors replacement of OEM style would be much better in the long run IMO.

this beats the labor out of constant checks, and gives you an idea of how high the pressure climbs as tires get hot while driving. price is reasonable. good one.

His videos have helped me out so much, except for this one. You'll still have the warning on the dash instrument panel and universal TPMS sensors are only about $29 a piece, installed and configured to your car at almost any Wal Mart.
