You said that useEffect is called when the pixels are painted. Now, when you were explaining the lifecycle of hooks then when we set the counter to 6 and useEffect of parent has not been called yet so show has not been set to false means the child component rendering console statements are still printed but why the pixels of child component are not painted?

Not finished the video but I was hoping to see building custom hooks to share logic between components and recreating entire redux with pure hooks. I don't see that in this video.

cons:
- c'mon, it is almost two hours video and you talk only about 3 hooks
- when you switch tabs I can't follow the code
- there is no need to explain things more than once, I can rewind video

pros:
- good detailed explanation on some issues
