Kolkata Doctors Protest: What Doctors Said Before Meeting Mamata Banerjee

Ahead of their meeting with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, protesting junior doctors expressed their determination to stand firm on their five-point demands. "Her visit proves our 35-day protest is necessary," a doctor said, adding that they were surprised to be called to Banerjee’s Kalighat residence instead of a government institution. "We will go to Kalighat and present our demands. Those thinking they can pressure or undermine us are wrong," another doctor stated. Despite the meeting, they affirmed, "Our protest will continue until justice is served."
