Fun fact- the bit about christmas carolers asking for figgy pudding dates back to when it was basically the most expensive desert you could have, and dates to a time when christmas was less about gift giving and loving your family and more about heavy drinking and rioting like its a bad day of mardi gras in new orleans
Its not "give us some figgy pudding" its "give us the expensive stuff or well break in and take everything else"
