According to the 2023 Global Slavery Index, the number of people falling victim to modern slavery has risen significantly. Around 50 million people were reportedly living in situations of modern slavery in any given day in 2021 -- an increase of about 10 million since 2016. Of the total figure, some 28 million are stuck in forced labour while the other 22 million are stuck in forced marriages. The report noted that the problem is connected to demand from higher-income nations. The G20, for instance, imports over $460 billion worth of goods at-risk of being made with forced labour.

Please use Blockchain to track logistics and supply chain coupling with Gold/cash/bank accounts for traceability (e.g. CDBC) Lately, organized crimes use gold as payments, pass through legit companies e.g. US states. Gold when melted, don't have tracking/traceability. Need audits and collaboration networks.
