Lol. I eat low carb, carnivore and work out several times a week. We've been subjected to anti-meat propaganda for almost 60 years from the government, medical and food industries. Meat and fat is not bad for us since it's our ancestral food.

I have a feeling this kind of thing will affect all general "AI" models eventually. They don't experience the real world so they can't learn from the real world. They are like Plato's man in the cave, only seeing the shadows of things. Therefore they are going to be of limited usefulness for real world applications. Highly limited, highly focused models are already useful for their intended tasks, but general AI is likely to remain a fantasy for quite a while longer.

Maybe it happened in Australia too, but I know there was a woman who followed her map into the middle of one of the largest ranches in Arizona and ran out of gas during the ranch hand’s week off.

The Google Maps thing is real even now. About a month ago I travelled into the Australian countryside to visit a friend who had recently moved out there. Google Maps directing me up into the mountains, along an incredibly steep and muddy forest trail that only a proper four-wheel drive vehicle would ever be capable of traversing. I got bogged and trapped a mile or more from the nearest proper road, in the middle of nowhere with no lights and minimal phone reception. I was incredibly lucky that my friend was able to come down the track from the other direction and find me.
