It describes a future in which we rely on renewable biological resources to meet our needs for food, materials and energy.
At the European Commission, we believe this future is very near. And we have launched a strategy about working with nature for a more sustainable way of living.

An Economy that centers on Human needs rather than outmoded ideas and profit would be great. I hope it will lead to the Betterment of humanity via genetic engineering and cyborg technology rather than the eugenics of abortion/euthanasia

...and on the other side of the planet there are people starving and "we" use food to satisfy our consumerism. How many people could you feed with all waste like plastic bottles that would be made out of food? What's about reducing the use of resources? Ever thought of that?!
