Thanks for this . But there are even more serious projects that you have not mentioned:
The nuclear power project in Buyende, which is for generating nuclear power ( by 20240, it will up and running). There is also the SGR railway system that is being financed by Uganda govt.
Uganda is also sitting on comfirmed gold of over 320 million tonnes in Namayingo, Busia, Bugisu, Moroto areas. This gold is worth approximately US D 11 Trillion ! So far the country has only 6 gold refineries .
In Acholi area ( Apaa), Uganda again has very large deposits of natural gas.
All these resources IF properly managed have the potential to leapfrog Uganda from low income nation to First world nation.
Corruption in the current government is every Uganda's worry . The only thing Ugandans believe is holding them back.
