TY for the review! the part on sparodox games relly hit me! i like those kind of games but i am not going to play them forever. at the start i love those games but on the end games they feel like too much work... or there is a way to not micro mange everythig?

They definitely did release 13 in English. Its the first RoTK that I've played and I like it a lot. It's like an RPG Grand Strategy hybrid. Best part is you can play anyone from a pencil pusher economist to Cao Cao. Haven't played this one yet but I was hoping for more of the same. Think I'll wait for the expansion before getting it.

Finally, someone who appreciated rotk 9.. ive played many rotk but just stick to the 9. Even my phone has rotk 9 with damon pro ps2 emulator on it.. lol

I'm not overly fond of the "Officer" play style but 13 really isnt bad at all. Probably the closest it's ever gotten to a solid blend of both styles. Its alot of fun. I recommend you give it a try. 11 is my absolute favorite except for the way city hp works.

Hmmm maybe you should recommend that they bring the coalition event they had in 13 to this one to deal with the end game issue. It's basically where the remaining forces unite against you for a year. This is a nice review from someone who actually plays the game. Of course it would be great if they bought the intelligence aspect of Romance of The Three Kingdoms 6 to this game. The intelligence aspect is pretty much where you assign officers to be spies for you. So basically you need to assign officers with high INT for it. If you have high force level overall intel rating then you can see more of the map and you can also see the amount of troops, commanders, and formations the enemy sends at you. If you' have a low force overal intel rating then less of the map would be revealed and you would get less information about enemy forces moving to attack your castle, and if you have no spies then the enemy would just attack you right at your castle gates. I've played Romance of the Three Kingdoms since the 2nd one came out in the NES. :)

I am playing the first Scenario on PS4 as LUI dynasty. And my god did I get fucked by the Yellow Rebelion. I was going to snatch the city of Nanpi because there was barely anyone and the army of Nanpi was fighting Gondsung dynasty next to me. So I said why not to expand. And boy did the Yellow Turban wrath came from the south pushing me away. It was quite a long war almost whole year trying to take that city backing off and then again attack. Now I am glad I defended myself. My first alliances has expired and now I am going to stay hell away from the Yellow Turbans pushing towards Gonsung. Great game so far. Love it.

I have never played any of the ROTK games. If I were to get it it would be on the Switch. Do you recommend this for someone who has never played any of these games before?

It still is a good game, just like 13. But adding a higher difficulty as dlc was a bit overkill since it's already a dlc sim

I love rottk 8, not tried 9 because its been a pain to find it in eu. I even bought an american ps2 just to play 10 :P

There are two types of ROTK players: Those who prefer playing officers/prefects/viceroys in 8 & 10 and those who just like playing the sovereign in 9 & 11.

From what I know, version 10 on the PC was a horrible half-translated mess of extreme confusion. On the other hand, version 10 on the PS2 is still one of my favorite games. 👍

hardcore fan of rotk 6 back on ps1. looks like its back on its root. imma try this one.
dunno why but rotk gives me nerd gasm on management that ck, tw, or eu series cant give.
