You don’t need advanced telescopes if you can create a wormhole and stick a telescope through it or you’ve evolved to become a 4th dimensional being so you go to 2.5 million years in the future to see how the Milky Way would look accurately.

Andromeda is fascinating, coming in at magnitude 3.44, it can be captured with a standard DSLR and a 75-300mm lens in moderately light-polluted skies. In heavy light pollution (Bortle Class 7 or 6), it's much more challenging, but still possible. The process may be tough if you're new to it, but it gets easier with practice.
