Not buying until I see 0%, 1% interest at most.

Dealer add-ons and packages from manufacturers has made it even harder for consumers.

I got my 2024 VW Jetta SEL with an APR 1.9% for 4 years. I got a discount of $1000 from MSRP. It’s not a hybrid vehicle but with an excellent combined MPG of 38 miles. I’m very happy with my new vehicle. 😊😊😊

I was able to get 4.9% through America Honda for my 24 CR-V. Crazy that used cars are almost 12% and new riding up at 6% or more!

I still see additional dealer markup fees and additional pricey dealer installed items on new cars. Little has changed.

No, leasing is not just renting. For most manufacturers outside of Tesla, you can buy the car if you like it afterwards. Also, never approach it as renting, treat it as if you were buying and negotiate the price down. You could end up with equity at the end if you choose to trade or sell it. Just check to make sure the manufacturer doesn’t have a clause preventing you from doing so.

Prices and interest rates are way too HIGH for inferior quality.. automobile manufacturers need to get off the crack

Basically what she's saying is, IF you WANT a car right now and can't afford to buy it in cash... wait. If you NEED a car right now get your credit score as high as you can then if you must finance DO NOT DO IT THROUGH THE DEALERSHIP, get financing from a credit union.

A lot of dealerships will work with you over text they are pretty desperate to make a sale I got OTD numbers first before even wasting time going in person

I appreciate the information, however, I purchased a used vehicle last month and got an interest rate of 6.44%

Incredibly spot-on assessment and the very reason I’m on my very first lease due to hardened market conditions; albeit that I’m a lifelong automotive enthusiast, I still conducted my own research to ensure that my lease sat well below the average relative to my payment/terms, after shopping around at different brands/dealers.

735 dollars a month is insane for average Americans. I’ll walk before I pay that much money.

Buy used. Pay cash. Say no to dealerships. Go private. Get inspected.
