I heard the rushing on the fills as well.. Its not just you.

The "pocket" is the groove of the drums and how it relates to the music, you can play in front or behind the pocket, but its usually exaggerated to where it still lines up in time, whether it be sixteenth notes or triplets.

I noticed it the most in the hereta fills. I used to do the same thing, the way i overcame the rushing is playing with a metronome for hours upon hours. play heretas over and over with a click and you will get it.

the set is connected to the computer and it's running Cubase on the drums is Addictive Drums. it's a plug in for electronic drums so the sound is by far superior to the built in sounds.
