First Day of Planting Corn 2019 at Lape Farms

Video I shot on the evening of Thursday April 11, 2019 as this farm gets started planting corn. In this video is a John Deere 8345R tractor pulling a 24 row model 1770 planter and a John Deere 9560RT pulling a 2310 soil finisher.

What else is new, if the WIND isn't blowing like a crazy wild man, it's raining cats & dogs ! Good video . Lots of capital outlay now days with all the fancy equipment that's available, no more of the plow and disc harrow days, they have gone to rest now .
